About us

Concept

The Logistics and Social Systems Group was established in April 2021 with Aoyama (President), Shibasaki, Tanaka, Nishino, and Kawasaki (Secretary) of the Department of Systems Innovation and Technology Management, Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo as its core members. The group was established with the aim of creating, designing, and implementing a new need-driven value system in the field of logistics systems in cooperation with industry and government. The group will also promote social implementation through industry-government-academia collaboration so that the innovative social and logistics systems created and designed will not be confined to the academic world, and disseminate and deploy the research results widely in Japan and abroad.

We regularly hold seminars to report and discuss the research results mainly by the five core members, and invites external lecturers to discuss the logistics social system from various angles.
